Aaron’s Catering is uniquely well equipped to produce any equestrian or other large scale entertainment event requiring an infrastructure build-out, ticketing, audio/visual/lighting, and hospitality services such as complete dining and beverage service.
For three consecutive years, IPCC was awarded the responsibility for the production of the infrastructure and hospitality services for the most prestigious horse show in Wellington—the 3 day World Dressage Masters event hosting thousands of riders and spectators. The event sponsors of the WDM selected IPCC as the best qualified catering and event production company to organize, build and manage the infrastructure and catering to meet global equestrian standards and specifications. The WDM presented by Axel Johnson Group is the world’s premier dressage series. The WDM Palm Beach is the only WDM event outside of Europe, as well as North America’s only annual five star FEI dressage competition.
At the 2011 WDM Palm Beach, IPC Catering presented a lavish French-themed evening for guests, who were treated to an evening of fine cuisine and wine from France while enjoying some of the world’s most successful dressage horses and riders perform Musical Freestyles just feet from the ringside tables. The theme for the 2012 WDM Palm Beach had been expanded to encompass the whole of Europe, in keeping with the international field of competitors who traveled with their horses from Canada, Germany, The Netherlands, Great Britain, Sweden and elsewhere in Europe to the most exciting dressage competition in North America. Guests were treated to an international feast honoring the host countries of the competitors. From gourmet interpretations of international cuisine to a fabulous international beer garden featuring highlights from the participating countries.
The WDM Title Sponsor for 2011 and 2012, Axel Johnson had IPCC produce private events for 100 VIPs at her Wellington estate. The spectators attending the WDM acknowledged how the remarkable ambiance, gracious service and outstanding food were significant factors to the rapid sellout each year.
Here is a quote from the international press: Wellington, FL- February 1, 2012- The atmosphere at Jim Brandon Equestrian Center was transformed for the sold-out World Dressage Masters into high-chic old world Europe. International Polo Club and Wanderers Club members, International riders, owners and guests enjoyed the ambience at the VIP Pavilion decorated with life-size armor and old world furniture. Attendees enjoyed a feast provided by International Polo Club Caterers prior to settling in at ringside tables to enjoy the pinnacle of International dressage competition. According to World Dressage Masters Managing Director, John van de Laar, “This was the finest stand alone dressage event I have experienced, even compared to the European events.”
IPCC served food and beverage to approximately 3,500 VIPs and general admission spectators over a 3 day period. We designed and installed 18 functional temporary structures with tents, furnishings, décor, power and lighting, such as 3 stadiums, tri-level Press Box, VIP Pavilion, Concession Park, and Rider’s Lounge. We also coordinated sponsor needs during the event. Our managing team negotiated contracts based on competitive bids and managed 21 subcontractor companies and over 300 workers. We landscaped over 80,000 sq. feet of a dirt arena. The scale of the structural development of the arena and grounds required project management competency, team work experience and a working knowledge of equestrian style events.
