The Legendary International Polo Club Sunday Brunch & Polo is rolling out an all new array of exciting and innovative food and beverage concepts that Polo enthusiasts and foodies will surely applaud. The lavish brunch consists of an ever rotating selection of over 80 delectable culinary offerings each week as well as three revolving action stations for guests to delight in. Is it over-the-top? Yes! Is it decadent? For sure! Is it a bit excessive and unnecessary? Absolutely, and that’s why people love it! Polo Brunch has become a destination for enthusiasts of adventure and entertainment from all over the world. It is a bucket list activity encompassing gourmet food, champagne, high-end retail shopping, musical entertainment, fashion, people watching, dancing, socializing, lounging, world class Polo and revelry. Don’t worry if you don’t know your Chukker from your Mallet, as long as you like to be waited on hand and foot and love to have a good time, you’ll fit in perfectly at the sport of kings.
The chic and luxiourious “Veuve Clicquot Airstream Lounge” is back and even better than last year. The 2014 Season launch experienced rave reviews and a sellout crowd with a waiting list. The exclusive area accommodates 50 fortunate guests each week who are granted all access in the entire gamut of activities of the day but only those lucky few can access the Airstream Lounge. The lounge has been raised up on a platform for elevated viewing of the polo match. The area has couches and lounge areas for guests to relax after finishing brunch at their table adorned with custom damask linens, Signature Orange Veuve Clicquot Overlays, Orange table umbrellas, Philip Stark Ghost Chairs, Veuve Clicquot Champagne Buckets and floral centerpieces. The area has its own host, bartender and servers who are there to attend to the guests every need. In addition to the new elevated viewing experience, there will be a private entrance in order for guests to be ushered in, avoiding the check-in lines.
The New Retro Vintage “Beerstream Lounge” is making its debut for the 2015 Sunday Polo Season at The International Polo Club Palm Beach. This 1966 Classic Airstream Trailer has been completely refurbished and overhauled in order to provide a hip, fun and interactive experience for tailgaters and craft beer enthusiasts. The full service mobile bar will feature a selection of local craft beers on tap as well as a full lineup of wine, liquor and frozen drink concoctions. The shiny Beerstream will have ample seating at hi top brushed stainless steel tables with architectural urban bar stools. The Beerstream Lounge will be open to any ticket holders on Sunday and will make its home at IPC. The Beerstream is completely mobile and available for rental as a full service mobile bar any day or night in order to make your party or special event a one of a kind experience. Tables, Chairs, Lounge Furniture, Lighting, Space Heaters, Firepits, White Picket Fencing and Full Service Catering are available upon request.
The 2:00 to 4:00PM Sunday “Brunch” is a culinary tour de force the covers many regions of the world and multiple meals of the day all creatively displayed on self-serve displays and interactive action stations. The multi course extravaganza was engineered for multiple trips throughout the afternoon. The food and displays are works of art that are as fun to view as they are to indulge in. Enjoy the breakfast buffet with savory truffled ham and cheese crepes and sinfully sweet beignets wedged between lobster eggs benedict and freshly baked popovers. Next, move to the lunch buffet featuring 24 hour Steamship Round, Guinness braised short ribs, creamy parmesan risotto and watermelon rosewater feta fennel balsamic salad. Every Sunday features a rotating menu that will ensure a unique and wondrous gastronomic adventure with each returning Sunday Brunch & Polo.
This year’s brunch will feature a taste of Italy. We will feature a charcuterie and cheese station serving imported artisanal cheeses and cured meats from regional limited production artisan salumists and affineurs from Italy. The action station will have mozzarella hand-stretched and loaded with your favorite ingredients, rolled and sliced to order, then drizzled with infused extra virgin olive oil and flavored aged balsamic reductions. Our chefs will make burrata cheese right in front of you as they fold in your customized toppings.
The brick oven gourmet flatbread action station will be manned by several skilled pizzaioli who will use hand-made dough and decadent toppings to custom make your creations which will be ready in minutes after exposed to the 750 degree inferno built into the towering Pavilion fireplace. Try some new flatbread samplings including Pear, prosciutto, blue cheese and arugula with a fig balsamic drizzle and carmelized onion or perhaps try the prawn, pesto and sun dried tomato with fresh roasted garlic or the whimsical pistachio marshmallow, minted plum and succulent lamb ensemble.
If you’re ready for desert, head to the Gelateria for homemade gelato or the guilt free soft serve frozen yogurt. Choose from waffle bowls or hip translucent colored bowls and top your weekly revolving flavor with dozens of fun toppings like to make it your own. White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake, Root beer Float, Pralines and Cream, Bourbon Pecan, Sea Salted Caramel, Honey Fig are some of the flavors that will be made in the kitchen. Mini petit fours and various seasonal favorites will be alternated throughout the season as the chefs are inspired and interesting ingredients surface.
Make sure and stay for one of the biggest Sunday parties in the country. The Pavilion afterparty begins right after the match at 5:00 when the drapes are closed, the disco lights turn on, the dance floor opens up and the lounge sections fall into place. DJ’s spin as partygoers pop champagne in VIP lounge areas and the dance floor throbs with energy.
